This past Sunday we had the pleasure of sponsoring and co-hosting a Bridal Open House at the wonderful LA Athletic Club in Downtown Los Angeles. Our goal for the event was to showcase the beautiful possibilities available to couples at the venue for their special day.

We chose to think outside of the typical “bridal showcase box” by conceptualizing and staging a full wedding. To really highlight the classical aesthetics of the Club, our design inspiration was the Great Gatsby… imagine if Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan were to get married and hired Modern LA Weddings to plan/design their wedding, this is a sneak peek of what we would do!

It was a great success! Ultimately, guests got a truly interactive experience that unlocked inspiration and possibility, which was our goal. In addition to exploring the design opportunities for their wedding, guests also enjoyed a tasting of the Club’s menu as well as meeting a collection of some of LA’s most talented vendors.
